7 ouders vertellen: déze simpele taken kosten veel tijd (en geduld) als je kinderen hebt
1. Het is wachten tot het misgaat
5 minutes into a hike with a 3 year old. And obviously her sister was doing just fine in the pack. pic.twitter.com/BcWjEqGa79

2. ‘Op avontuur’ krijgt ineens een andere betekenis
The amount of influencers I’ve seen with a baby strapped to their back in the woods with some caption about how they’ll never stop exploring. I’m like yeah but soon you’ll be exploring one very specific pile of rocks outside your house while trying to get to the grocery store.

3. Morgen een nieuwe poging
I had this great plan for all the things we were going to do this Saturday, and my two year old figured out how to remove his seat belt. A few miles of having to stop the car every quarter mile to buckle him back in later the plans changed to a stay at home day.

4. Multitasken voor gevorderden
My daughter’s a pediatrician, just had her first baby. She’s always been baffled at how many parents are late for appointments. Then she had to get to the baby’s one-week pediatrician’s appt.
“Oh my God. Now I’m going to congratulate everyone for getting there at all!” 😅

5. Blijft fascinerend, die trap
Carry me down these two stairs. Now I would like to walk down this one stair. No, now i will go back up 3 stairs and bounce on this stair in the middle of the staircase. Actually, now i want to go backwards down this stair, and forwards down the next while you hold my hand.

6. Dagvullend programma
When we had to take our twins to their first appt (at 4 days old) we got up at 6am for a 10am appt and we still showed up 5 minutes late.

7. In alle rust genieten van de omgeving? Dacht het niet.
Went to the Japanese Gardens yesterday with my 6yo. She had a meltdown, threw herself on the ground and stopped everyone on the path from continuing their walk. Why? because the koi fish were looking at her the wrong way.
